DESCRIPTION:The DeForest Windsor\, Sun Prairie & Waunakee Chambers of Commerce in collaboration with Madison College is making available to members (and non-members) the opportunity to enhance and develop the leadership skills of managers\, supervisors\, high-performers and those desiring a leadership position. \n\n\n\nKey topics and competencies to be covered include:\n\n The Essentials Skills & Practices of leadership - Oct 25th\n Effective communication - Nov 29th\n Building Trust & Motivation - Jan 24th\n Situational Leadership - Feb 28th\n Team-building & Teamwork - Mar 28th\n Managing Difficult Conversations & Resolving Conflict - Apr 25th\n Managing change - May 23rd\n\nThese courses may be taken individually or toward certification. The leader moves through four primary styles of leadership\, aligning his/her approach based upon the subject matter and the development level (maturity) of the individual being led.
